Feedback is essential for eBay resellers in 2023. If you’re an eBay reseller looking to increase your feedback, there are four ways to do it.
We’ve discussed this before, but feedback on eBay is more important than any other platform. It weighs more on eBay, and for our business, it weighs more than someone selling lower-priced items. When you sell high-priced items, the buyers will look at your feedback. When selling an item for $1,000, $2,000, $5,000, or $10,000, people will check to see if we are legit sellers on eBay.
Feedback is broken into two types of feedback – buyer’s feedback and seller’s feedback. Everything you sell or buy on eBay can have the opportunity for feedback, and eBay doesn’t distinguish what kind it is.
You want to get the number of feedback behind your name as high as you can as quickly as possible if you start selling more expensive items on eBay.
Buy Low-Priced Items For Feedback
This is the easiest one to do and the fastest. The first one is to buy really low-priced items that you can find on eBay. You can purchase dollar items on eBay with free shipping, and typically, the people who are selling those items are high-volume sellers so they have their feedback set to automatically give someone positive feedback once they buy it and pay for it.
Start Shopping On eBay
If you buy items from Amazon or other online providers, check for them on eBay. Switch some of your regular spending to eBay, and then you can accrue buyer’s feedback even faster by buying things you would typically purchase. Don’t spend any extra money; just know that it might take a little extra shipping time due to eBay fulfillment times.
Some examples can be toiletries or tools.
Sell Items For Cheap On eBay
Look for items around your house that you want to donate and list them for cheap on eBay. You do not want to lose money on shipping. So when selling these items, ensure your shipping is covered. Calculated shipping is great if you’re selling something, and it will go in a small box. Maybe you’re listing it at a penny. You’re selling that item for one penny, covering yourself with $9.95, $9.97, or $10 for shipping. That way, the people are getting a good deal, and they’re only paying for shipping to get that to them. You’ll get that seller feedback built quickly.
An example might be a shirt you never wore or other items you never used but don’t want. Don’t lose money. Don’t put a $50 breadmaker on there. Find small items.
Ask For Feedback
As you sell items, it’s okay to ask the buyer for feedback; the same goes for when you’re a buyer.
You can write a polite message that says, “Hey, I’m trying to grow my eBay account. If you’re happy with your transaction, would you please leave some positive feedback? We’d love that.”
Do not be scared to do it; just ask.
These tips will help you build your eBay feedback quickly in 2023. You can get up to 50 feedback in less than a month by implementing some of these tips to take your reselling business to the next level.
