Make $200 This Week Without Investing A Dime In Inventory! (Unlock The Secrets Presentation)

Thursday_Highlights-0079

Thank you so much for spending your time with us! We would be so grateful if you could take a minute and leave us a review.

Today we are sharing some highlights for the Unlock The Secrets presentation we did at the ClickFunnels event earlier in the year. We talked about how someone who is new to flipping can make $200 in the next week with just a smartphone and without investing a dime on inventory.

Flipping is taking an undervalued or unwanted item from one market to another market that values it. We typically take items from smaller markets like our neighborhood apps and put them on a larger market like eBay where they will sell for more money.

Starting Flipping

I started flipping when I was just a kid. My parents went to yard sales for two reasons. One, I have six older sisters and I’m the only boy so they took us to yard sales to provide for us. Two, my parents had a side hustle. They would buy stuff from yard sales, clean it up, and sell it in the classifieds section of the newspaper. This was before eBay existed and they did well doing this.

When I wanted to buy a car, I asked my mom to help me get started so I could make some money and I was eventually able to get that car.

How To Start Flipping

The easiest way to get started flipping is by selling items from your home that you no longer use or need. From there, you can look for free items. We walk a mile almost every day from  our house to the downtown area and we have made tens of thousands of dollars from items we’ve found on the side of the road. You can also look at the apps to find items for free.

The potential is endless for free items if you’re actually out there looking for them.

You can run your whole business from your smartphone. We use our phone to source, take photos, do research, list items, and communicate with buyers.

Unlocking The Secrets To Flipping

Why Sell On eBay

eBay has 152 million registered users where your local apps only have about 30,000 to 40,000 registered users. You have a lot more eyes on your item on eBay. Now that doesn’t mean that all 152 million people are looking for your item, but it just is a higher chance that you will find the person that needs the item that you have. You can also price higher than you can on the local apps because there are more people looking for it and because you’re willing to ship it to them.

Determine Item Value

The cool thing about eBay is you can see items that were sold in the last 90 days so you can type in the item you’re trying to sell and see what other similar items have sold for. That gives you a great idea of what your item will sell for so you can price it competitively. We usually try to price our items at 50% of retail value unless it’s a collector’s item and is rare.

Listing An Item

When you start your listing on eBay, type in what you’re selling. Type in the brand and model number and you might see a similar item pop up so you can copy some of the same info from another listing. If there’s not a match, you’ll have to manually input all the item information. Sell the item as used.

Then you’ll add pictures. Take quality photos of the item without pictures of your pets in the background. Use good lighting and a clean background. eBay even allows you to add a video now. Make sure to show any defects.

Add a detailed description listing defects as well. Add the price and then choose buy it now or auction; we usually sell via buy it now. Then you will add shipping information. Then set your preferences like if you accept returns and your handling time.

It takes a little while to go through the listing process the first couple of times. As you get more familiar with it, you’ll get faster. What are you waiting for? Get started using eBay today!

I grew up in Central Florida and have lived here my whole life. I first got into buying and selling items when I was 16 years old, and have been hooked ever since. It has mostly been a hobby that makes some extra cash, but sometimes it serves as my main income as well. I don't plan on stopping any time soon. I find too many fun toys for my family (or myself), and just love the whole process.
