Get out of your head? Yes. What does that even mean?
Do you know that sometimes we get in our own way of going forward?
We all overthink sometimes. And, that can hold us back. I call these the what ifs.
What if I fail? Can I do it? Will I lose Money? What if I buy something that doesn’t work? Will I get a return? What if someone leaves negative feedback?
The what ifs are how you get in your head and hold yourself back.
Have you ever been there?
I call it analysis paralysis. When the what ifs creep in we start questioning ourselves.
Instead of spending time taking steps to move forward, we occupy ourselves worrying.
We are our own biggest cheerleader, but we can also be our own worst enemy.
But, we get into our own head, and we must find a way to get out of our head.
We don’t tend to question everyone else as much as we question ourselves. Why is that?
What If
For every what if I fail. There is a what if I don’t.
What if you don’t fail? What would happen then? You would succeed.
What does succeeding look like?
Are we scared of failing, or are we scared of succeeding?
Why are we so scared of the unknown?
Not doing something could literally hold us back from something that is amazing.
Get out of your head. You can do anything you set your mind to.
What If You Can
Perhaps you have wanted to start your own reselling business. But, you wake up in the morning with the repetitive wrestling match between the thought of accomplishing something new and doing the same old thing.
You can choose door number 1 or door number 2.
Door #1
You dream of starting your own flipping business and paying off your student loans and credit card debt.
You doubt yourself and just continue to do what you know and feel comfortable with.
Door #2
Get out of your head. Dream of starting your own flipping business and paying off your student loans and credit card debt.
In order to get started, you make goals for yourself and take training about the ins and outs of flipping.
You create an account on eBay and find 5 items in your house that you don’t use any more.
Sound familiar?
If you find yourself relating to what you just read, you are not alone.
We have all done it.
This problem of us getting in our own way is not new.
The outcome can go two ways. The difference is only a matter of whether you want to settle, or whether you are willing to take some risks, bust past your what ifs and achieve your goals.
You can do it
I am a very optimistic person and I don’t really stop long enough to believe that I can’t do something.
I jump in believing I can, and most of the time I can.
If you are not believing in yourself, stop, breathe, and repeat after me, “I can do it!”
Here is my question. If you make a mistake, what would happen?
You would just try again right. That is not a bad outcome, so go ahead, try. I believe in you.
You can get out of your head if you believe you can.
Imagine if you do start a flipping business, you learn everything you can, you put the work in, and you succeed.
You work hard and are able to pay off your student loans, pay off your credit card debt, and now you have a savings account and enough money to take extra trips.
What if you can?
You are capable of getting out of your head and doing anything you set your mind to
It may not happen overnight. It may not be easy.
But, you literally can do anything you set your mind to.
Be your strong self, take some risks, get out of your comfort zone and picture how amazing you will feel when you follow your dreams and succeed.
Do you want to take your flipping business to the next level?
