How Do I Sell On Grailed?
Once you sign up for a Grailed account, log in and click the sell button to post your item. Connect and verify your PayPal account.
Upload at least three quality photos with your listing. Include pictures necessary for the authentication of your item. Use good lighting and a simple background. Ensure the photos accurately reflect the item’s color and show multiple angles.
Add a detailed description. Include the designer name, size, how it fits, descriptive name, color, condition, any notes about the condition, and item measurements. Then hit publish.
You can sell any fashion brand on Grailed. It’s not just specific designers. You can list items even if the brand isn’t on the Grailed list yet. You can also request for a brand to be added to the list.
Grailed’s hateful item policy prohibits sellers from selling anything that promotes violence or hate of a specific group based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender identity, disability, or sexual orientation.
What Are Collections?
Grailed has a section featuring hand-picked collections and daily discoveries from well-dressed people at Grailed. If you have a specific style with your items, you may find some of them make their way into the collection listings.
What Are The Fees On Grailed?
The platform is free for buyers and charges a 9% commission fee for sellers. You can post your item for free. Grailed only charges the commission if your item sells.
In addition to the commission fee, there is a payment processing fee for transactions made with Grailed Payments or PayPal.
For US domestic payments, there is a payment processing fee of 3.49% + $0.49.
For international payments, there is a payment processing fee of 4.99% + $0.49.
Because the Grailed payment processors base the transaction value on a post-tax basis, their processing fee will be based on the sale price, including the tax paid by the buyer.
How To Ship With Grailed
You can ship on your own or with Grailed, which will prompt you to enter the item’s weight at the time of listing and select a pre-paid label option. Grailed uses a tiered system for shipping.
Extra small is for under 4 oz and works well for jewelry, socks, or small accessories. It costs $6. Small is for items under 8 oz, like t-shirts, tanks, and gloves, and is $7. Medium is for under 1 pound and is $9. Large is for items under 2 pounds and is $15. Extra large is for items under 20 pounds and is $20. You will have to ship anything over 20 pounds on your own.
Returns are not accepted on Grailed; all sales are final. Grailed only issues refunds if an item is not received, is inauthentic, or is not as described in the listing.
