Well that was a long road trip! We covered over 3,000 miles through 12 states in two weeks time, and made $5,600 on eBay while doing it.  AND we did it with 3 kids: ages 4, 2, and 8 months! WHEW! They actually were great travelers. They impressed both my wife and I. When they needed a break we would look for a Chick Fil A for lunch or dinner so they could run around on the indoor play...

We had our first yard sale in a long while this past Saturday. I would call it a success! Our goal was to declutter some things that have accumulated from life, as well as make a little extra cash, and we managed to do a little of both. Our grand total was $465. Not too bad for a Saturday morning. Our total would have been a lot more had I pulled out items from my garage...

I get asked all the time "what is the weirdest flip you've ever done?" I would have to say hands down one of my flips definitely sticks out more than the rest. It has been the most memorable ebay sale among my friends and family so I have to share it with you all.  While I enjoy looking for weird and fun items to flip, I do purchase some normal items for resale -  like new tennis...

During my stroll down the flea market aisles last week, I came across a parachute harness that intrigued me. Extreme sports interest me, but I have never been sky diving. I went parasailing about 12 years ago, with my own rig on my own boat and it ended up with a trip to the emergency room. Apparently I had hooked up the parasail upside down so I ended up going up backwards.  The clip came...

Do you think it's possible to pay your Mortgage payment by one flea market flip? I just did last week and I was really excited about it!  When I was walking around at the flea market a few weeks ago (like I do every weekend), I came across two wheel chairs; one was power and the other was manual. Both chairs were good name brands but I passed them up my first time around because they...

One Dollar. 100 pennies. Today $1 doesn't really get you too far. A couple decades ago you would have been rich as a kid with a dollar, but now it could buy you a candy bar with maybe a couple pennies left over. OR, it could buy you a boat switch. But wait, what does a boat switch have to do with the electric bill?  Well, when you buy used items and resell them online for a...

I am very excited about writing this post today! I just came out with my very first eBook! It's more of a guide than a book, as it is informative, but not overwhelming. (It is 17 pages to be exact). I have noticed over the years, some people don't have a lot of extra capital to start buying items to sell. I didn't want this to stop them from being able to make a profit. I...

Alright everyone, here's the best flip of 2016 so far!! (I have a few more flips in the works with some serious potential so I'll keep you posted). A pair of Seadoo wave runners! I purchased this set a few weeks back and sold them over the weekend.         I received a call a couple weeks ago from a close friend who told me his employer was trying to sell the...
