We are on the road! We are traveling the country right now, finding some cool stuff, seeing some really cool places, and we want to share that experience. We’ll be doing small snippets of our trip where we talk about what we’re buying, finding, seeing, and show you what’s possible when it comes to finding items for eBay while traveling.
Road Trip Route
This trip, the goal is to go up the East Coast, across the top of the United States, and to see some amazing sights and fill our trailer along the way. There are only two states the kids haven’t been to: North Dakota and Alaska, but, we’re not making it to Alaska this trip. We are going to stop in North Dakota for a picture.
We normally average around $20,000 of inventory on these trips, so that’s our benchmark goal, and we’ll see what we come back with when we’re done.

Road Trip Essentials
We have a mostly empty trailer with us that stores our suitcases, spare tires, and then there’s a lot of room for items we want to pick up on the trip. I also packed tons of tools. I could change out an engine with all the tools that I take with me on the road trip. We have straps, blankets, and cellophane to wrap stuff. This is exactly what we need on the road when we buy stuff and pack it in the trailer.

On the last road trip we had about 15 items valued around $20,000 so that’s our goal for this year too.
Before we left I already found two items that we are hoping to stop and look at. One is $100 and should sell for between $2,500 to $3,500. Stay tuned for more updates from the road!
