What We Sold Over The Weekend For A Total Of $1,685

Thank you so much for spending your time with us! We would be so grateful if you could take a minute and leave us a review.

We just had three sales come in over the weekend, totaling $1,685 so we’re going to dive into what we sold to make that money.

Item #1 – Boom Box

This boom box was probably from the ‘90s. It was the typical boom box you’d see with the tape deck and CD player. We got it from a thrift store for cheap. I did sit on this for a while and it took the right buyer to get it, but it was small and didn’t take up too much space in storage.

Sold: $250
COGS (cost of goods sold): $10
eBay Fees: $25
Shipping: $25 (estimated)
Profit: $190

Item #2 – Floor Stripper

This was an electric floor stripper. It was not working properly, but I did a video showing how it worked. This is an electric one that has a motor with a little blade on the front of it and the blade just kicks like that to strip tiles or glue from concrete. To get it started you actually had to spin the motor on top. The video showed that and it still sold, so that’s a lesson that things don’t have to be working perfectly to sell.

Sold: $650 ($500 plus $100 shipping)
COGS (cost of goods sold): $75
eBay Fees: $88
Shipping: $100 (estimated)
Profit: $387

Item #3 Oxygen Bar

This is an oxygen bar that gives flavors. It’s small but it pumps in oxygen with flavor. These bars popped up for a while where you could go and breathe in different oxygen flavors. I didn’t know if it worked or much about it, but I said that in the listing. When I found it at the thrift store, I looked it up and saw they retail for over $3,000 new so I knew it was a good investment. We’ve had it for a while, but it was small and didn’t take up too much storage space.

Sold: $785 ($750 + $35 shipping)
COGS (cost of goods sold): $15
eBay Fees: $104
Shipping: $25 (estimated)
Profit: $641

Robert Stephenson

I grew up in Central Florida and have lived here my whole life. I first got into buying and selling items when I was 16 years old, and have been hooked ever since. It has mostly been a hobby that makes some extra cash, but sometimes it serves as my main income as well. I don't plan on stopping any time soon. I find too many fun toys for my family (or myself), and just love the whole process.
